Turning 7!

September 30, 2008 at 3:36 am

My eldest son turned SEVEN!  To celebrate we went to one of his favorite restaurants- Ruby’s.  My son loves trains, planes and automobiles so he really enjoys their atmosphere.  After dinner, he was quite in shock when the waiter’s and waitresses’ came to sing him Happy Birthday.  I LOVED his expression of total surprise.  He LOVED the Hot Fudge sundae.  I shot these pic’s with my son’s point n’ shoot.  Cute!

Ella | Irvine Children’s Photographer

September 21, 2008 at 2:25 am

Last weekend we went to Irvine, CA for a reunion with friends from our former church.  It’s been four years since we’ve seen most of the folks that attended.  Even though 4 years doesn’t seem that long, it certainly felt that way when I saw our friend’s kids all grown into young teens and adults.  While I was there, I snapped some photos of my god-daughter Ella.  She is quite a character!

Baby Brock's Brag Book

September 9, 2008 at 3:33 pm

I had the privilege of photographing Brock as a newborn earlier this summer.  He’s is so adorable and precious, a true miracle.  Shortly after birth, Brock was hospitalized with respiratory infection.  Through God’s healing hand Brock fully recovered.   I ordered an Asuka Book soft cover album for Brock’s parents and it came in today!

Baby Sidney | Indio Baby Photographer

September 4, 2008 at 12:20 am

Earlier this year, I attended a seminar with my friend and very talented photographer Shannon Wilsey from Shannon Wilsey Photography located in Palm Springs (shannonwilseyphoto.com).  The seminar’s speaker was Sandy Puc’, a renowned photographer who specializes in capturing photographs of children and families.  After the seminar, I was totally jazzed and eager to try some of the techniques I learned.  My neighbor just had a baby so I had a model.  The baby’s name is Sidney and she is absolutely beautifu!.  I didn’t get to try everything I learned and that’s okay.  You have to be very flexible and patient when working with little one’s.  Here’s one of my favorite’s from the session.
