This is by far my most favorite maternity session to date. Robert, surprised his wife Lety with a maternity and baby portrait package for mother’s day. What a thoughtful gift! At that time, Lety was in her eighth month of pregnancy. But, I couldn’t tell. She looked absolutely radiant! Well, their maternity session took place on a Wednesday and I got the news that she delivered a perfect healthy baby girl on the following Saturday! 3 days later! This was the Zepeda’s first, yes first family portrait. They shared that they have taken snapshots of the family but wanted a professional portrait that included their daughter and her family. During their session we took some traditional family portraits but we also had some fun getting some other shots as well. During the session, the eldest daughter said “I don’t remember family portraits being this way”. I giggled because that exactly the experience I wanted them to remember. I wanted them to experience something fun and memorable. Hopefully, this won’t be their last family portrait.
