Ready, Get Set, Go! Nicole and Craig got a real workout during their session. They are both avid runners and wanted to include their favorite pastime as part of their session. I was all for it considering that I enjoy running as well. We had so much fun! It was also pretty cool running into my high school cross country coach before the session. Ah, memories. Stay tuned for Nicole and Craig’s Engagement Session Part II coming this summer.
Loved, loved, loved capturing the LOVE between Melissa and James. They are just too cute together. For their session we traveled to Silent Valley, near Idyllwild, to take some photographs at their “secret” spot. Afterwards, we ended up taking photos throughout the area because it was just so beautiful. I have been there before during the summer but couldn’t believe how different it looks this time of year. Melissa and James are both musicians and volunteer their talent at their church. That is how they met and their relationship grew as they served the Lord. So I couldn’t resist capturing them creating some lovely tunes. Thank you Melissa & James and I can’t wait for your wedding!
Christina, a daughter of a family friend, and I met years ago when we were both teenagers. When Christina called me to schedule her engagement session I was so excited to capture this moment for them. For their engagement session we traveled to Whitewater Preserve. This was my first trip there and it won’t be my last. It a great place for the family to have a picnic and go for a hike. Afterwards we headed towards the desert in Palm Springs. Matt, a teacher and musician, whipped out his guitar and I captured them sharing a moment. Check out some of their moments captured below. Congratulation Christina and Matt!
Since it still felt like summer in the desert, the scene for the engagement session was a little bit of country…Oak Glen. I love Oak Glen. The crisp air, sweet apples, and homemade apple pie. Joe and Joanna (cute, huh?) fit right in. They are such an easy-going and relaxed couple. I forgot to mention cool, as they brought along a set of motorcycles to include in the shoot. They are founders of Redeemed Racing, a motor-cross ministry that creates a safe atmosphere for its members and helps share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others on and off the track.
